How do I get on the interest list for Affordable Housing?

Visit www.portsideventuraharbor.com. From the homepage click on Join Our Interest List. Complete the online form and make sure to check ‘Affordable Housing’. We must have a valid email and phone number as a means to contact you. Once you submit your information you will receive an auto - reply. This auto - reply is your confirmation that you are on the interest list.

What is the deadline to put my name on the interest list for Affordable Housing?

The deadline to submit your information to be added to the interest list is end of day November 4th, 2019. The interest list will close at this time and all new submissions after this deadline will not be considered for the lottery.

I submitted my name more than six months ago. How will I know if my name is still on the interest list?

There is no need to resubmit your information. If you have not received an email announcement from us on October 23, 2019 first check your junk folder. If you do not see our email please follow the instructions above on joining our interest list.

What is the Affordable Housing Lottery?

In order to give everyone an equal chance at being considered for an Affordable Housing apartment at Portside Ventura Harbor we will randomly draw names to create our contact list. As apartment homes become available we will start contacting the list in the order that the names were drawn.

Why is there an Affordable Housing Lottery?

We want to be fully transparent in the process and provide everyone an equal opportunity at becoming a resident at Portside Ventura Harbor.

When and where is the Affordable Housing Lottery?

The Affordable Housing Lottery will be held at Marriott Ventura Beach, 2055 E Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001 on November 7, 2019 from 10am to 12pm PST.

Can I attend the Affordable Housing Lottery?

The lottery is open to the public. The space is limited to 100 people. Once we reach capacity we will no longer be able to accommodate additional attendees.

Is it a requirement to attend the Affordable Housing Lottery in person to be placed on the Affordable Housing Contact list?

There is no requirement for you to be present at the lottery to be placed on the contact list.

Will I be notified of my placement on the Affordable Housing Contact list?

We will send an email within two weeks of the event.

When will the Affordable Housing apartments be available?

Our first phase of 56 apartment homes will be available Mid-November 2019. A portion of these homes are designated Affordable Housing apartments.
